Professional Experience Throughout his career, Juan Arvelo md has held many positions at different organizations and institututes, including serving as Test Scientist at Littoral Warfare Advanced Development, ONR; Physicist in Acoustic Signal Processing Branch, Underwater Systems Department, NAVSWC; and Research Scientist in Advanced Technology Applications at Alliant Techsystems, Inc. Currently, he holds the positions of Instructor at the Applied Technology Institute, Applied Physical Oceanography and Acoustics: Controlling Physics, Observations, Models and Naval Applications, and Faculty Research Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department, Whiting School of Engineering, Johns Hopkins University.
