Defining PBL: The problem or the project drives the learning. The problem is posed so that the students discover that they need to learn some new knowledge before they can solve the problem.
Students need to be skilled in problem-solving before entering into PBL activities. PBL doesn’t develop problem-solving skills, but offers an opportunity to develop the skills.
