Deliver national qualifications including:- Initial Teacher Training PTLLS & CTLLS (NOCN) Introduction to Trainer Skills (City & Guilds) ITQ – Level 1 & Level 2 (City & Guilds) Management and Volunteer Management (ILM) Personal Development Through Horticulture (NOCN) Speaking Up (NOCN) Mentoring & Learning Champions (NOCN) Single Units
What is different? • Learning Environment (not college/classroom) • Approach to learning (learner centred) • Context (Relaxed, informal, friendly) • Timings (including evenings and weekends) • Level of Support (Maximum of 12 learners) • Flexibility (meet needs at short notice) • Cost (do more with less)
Quality Assurance • Own Policies and Procedures • Awarding Bodies (External Verifiers and Quality Reviewers) • College (Standardisation/Course Reviews/Observations/Paperwork/SAR) • Devon County Council (Course Reviews/Observations/Paperwork/SAR)
