Annual report to the Government and the Chamber of deputies, Luxemburg • The child expounded in the conflict of parents separation was the main subject of our report 2010. • Our committee was solicited to analyse projects of new laws concerning children: equal parental responsability, marriage and adoption, access to adoption for homoparental couples, modification of the law of voluntary termination of pregnancy
Article 9 § 3 of the CIDE, States Parties shall respect the right of the child who is separated from one or both parents to maintain personal relations and direct contact with both parents, even if they are living in different places, was an important subject of a large compaign with conferences and posters: « Don’t quarrel, mother and father are both important for a child. »Parents remain parents even if they are no longer partners.
