What is a science interactive notebook • Cut out and glue article on next available right hand page (p. 3) • Number the paragraphs • Read the information • Underline key concepts when reading • Circle unknown terms
Tattoo art • On the left hand page (p. 2), draw a tattoo that may support the concept of a science interactive notebook. • Use four colors
Left side/right side • Cut out the information on what goes on the left side and what goes on the right side. • Cut them out separately • Glue the left hand information on the next available left page (p 4) • Glue the right hand information on the next available right page (p 5)
Cornell notes • Cut and glue “helping students learn the cornell style” to the next available right hand page (p 7) • Underline key points • Circle unknown terms
Cornell notes10 min-24 hours-7 days • Take initial notes on right hand side • Go back and write the “topic” on the left hand side and summarize the notes • Next day-highlight major points • At the end of the week, utilize notebook on a test

Foldables • Next available right hand page, your students would take notes on photosynthesis • Equation????
Left hand side • Fold paper in half • Glue one half of sheet of blank paper on notebook. • Write equation on inside flap • Cut the paper so that student can articulate inputs and outputs and label.
Choose any topic you teach • On the left hand side, design the front and back of a Tshirt. • Front: Picture depicting your topic • Back: Theme of your topic • Must use four colors overall
