Sections • Sections 1-2 • Cover page • Table of Contents • Weekly Info Page (Vocabulary Warm-Ups + SSR Response for the week) • Daily notes • Daily homework assignments (to be stamped) • Section 3 • Writing Portfolio (all drafts of writing assignments) • NOTE: Everything will be documented on the Table of Contents
Inside Cover of Notebook • Tape in the Homework Assignment sheet to the inside cover of your interactive notebook
Title Page • Student’s full name • Teacher’s name • Course (English 3) • Year (2012-2013)
Interactive Notebook page • On the back of the Title Page, tape in your English 3 Interactive Notebook page diagraming what goes on the left and right sides of the notebook • At the bottom of that page, you’ll see a section for Study Buddies. You must find three Study Buddies and write their full names and phone numbers. In the event that you don’t understand an assignment, are absent or just have a general question, please call or text these friends.
Table of Contents • The next four pages are devoted to your Table of Contents. Please tape the pages in order. • The very next page (on the right) will be Page 1. • Write a “1” in the top right-hand corner. • This page will also be your Weekly Info Page including the Week/dates, your vocabulary warm-ups for each day (word + definition), and your weekly SSR Response that you’ll complete each Friday.
