continued • I am important because I can affect economics and politics, and I am also known as a precious metal. • I can be found throughout the world, but mostly I’m found in granite and rock in our planet • I am mostly used for jewelry, but I take part in computers, dentistry, and other electronics
Physical Properties • I am ductile, meaning I can be drawn into thin wires • I am also malleable, meaning I can be hammered into thin sheets • My touch is soft, and could be scratched easily
