There are 4 crucial areas of exam technique for the science papers • Time management • Marks for a question • Key Formulas • Key words • Using what they give you • Answering the question
1. Time management How many marks on the paper? 45 marks 45 mins How much time do you have? So you should aiming to get 1 mark every minute How many questions on the paper? 7 7 How many marks for a question? 3-7 marks Obviously you should spend longer on the higher mark questions
