Agenda • How to Access Your Allocated Funds • -Forms with Rae Ann Wetzel • -WISDM with Nathan Koffke • Overview • - The Student Allocations Committee and YOU • - The Allocations Gap and how it affects YOUR ORG • Important Dates • Budget Expectations
What is Allocations? Every year, each and every one of you pays tuition. A portion of this payment is known as “Segregated Fees.” Of these segregated fees, not quite 10% is allocable. That is what we do. We allocate this money back to the clubs and organizations in a fair, equitable, and transparent way.
Understanding the Allocations Gap: The Unfortunate Reality of Limited Resources ~5% Requests Available Allocable Funds 3% In 2012 the Allocations Gap = $258,354
How the Allocations Gap Affects Your Org Due to limited resources, the SAC will grant funding on an extremely limited basis. Only funding determined by the committee to be extremely vital to an activity that directly pertains to the club or organization’s mission and purpose will be granted.
