Installation and configuration • Installation process is similar to the regular speednet • While configuring, this module can be customized only for TMOs as shown in the next slide • Does not include non essential configuration that does not relate to TMOs • Watch the demo of installation and configuration by faculty and follow it up by installing in your systems

Points to remember in operations • TMO module of Speednet contains only bag handling functions as shown in the operator menu in previous slide • The new utility of receipt of bag with message will be effective only if connected despatching offices close and despatch bags in speednet and bag message is received before the bags physically arrive in TMOs • If bag message is not received for any reason, the operator has to scan each bag selecting the source and destination offices which is a lengthy and time consuming process– You need to work in tandem with source SPCs to minimize such instances • Before proceeding with scanning of bags received in each schedule, the office should call the central server in the communication module to download message files, if any • Ensure that remote scanners are used in the operating environment to reduce operator fatigue • Configure the Mail list and TB list for each operator accurately based on due bag list to avoid second scanning of bags to generate mail list
