2. What happens if you want to have both direct and indirect object pronouns in the same sentence? The indirect object goes first. D.O.P I.D.O.P D.O.P I.D.OP We bought the shirts for you. Compramos las camisas para ti. D.O.P I.D.O.P Te las compramos. We bought them for you. Siempre me dicen la verdad. They always tell me the truth. Siempre mela dicen. They always tell it to me.. My mom bought tacos for us. Mi mamá compró tacos para nosotros My mom bought them for us. Mi mamá noslos compró.

There is a special rule for verbs with two pronouns when both are third person: Change the indirect object pronoun to se! • Ejemplos: • Le pedí una servilleta al mesero. • I asked the waiter for a napkin. • Is the next sentence correct? • I asked himfor it.Le la pedí. (is this correct?) • It is incorrect because remember when both pronouns are in the third person you must change the indirect object pronoun to se. Here is the correct answer! • Se la pedí. I.D.O.P D.O.P

4. Remember that when a conjugated verb appears with an infinitive, you have two choices. You can put the pronouns before conjugated verbs, or you can attach them to the end of the infinitive. Either way, the sentences mean the same thing. • Ejemplos: • Melos vas a comprar. • You are going to buy them for me. • Or I could have said… • Vas a comprarmelos. • You are going to buy them for me. Remember: You can use either way for saying the same thing.
