Sandowbuiltastageperformancearounddisplaysofstrength andagilityaswellasshowingoffa“Grecian”physiquewhichwas consideredtheultimatebody.Hebecamesosuccessful,hecreated severalbusinessesaroundhisfameandwasamongthefirstpeopleto marketbodybuildingproductsbearinghisname.Ashebecamemore popular,hewascreditedwiththeinventionofthefirstexercise equipmentmarketedtothemasses.
