Medium voltage cables are mostly used in industrial and commercial areas. • The standard voltage rating for this cable count between 5kv to 35kv but it can be vary according to manufacturer. • Underground medium voltage cables are used to transmit electrical power from a transmission system and into the home of consumers.

  3. Medium voltage cable are available in single and multi-conductor, and shielded and unshielded styles, with a flexible design for installation. • Medium voltage cable also available in two types of insulation levels, 100% or 133%. These insulation levels permit the cable to better handle a voltage increase should system faults occur.

  4. Application • These cables are mainly used as a main power source in many applications. • These cables are also used in conduit, open tray, aerial, direct burial and underground ducts.
