  4. John 14:19-20The Indwelling of The Lord Jesus Christ to every Church Age believer.

  5. The Prophecy of the Indwelling of Jesus Christ:

  6. 1. There never has been a time in history when some part of the world did not see Jesus Christ - Theophany.

  7. a. Christ appeared as a man, e.g., to Jacob, Abraham. b. Christ appeared as a cloud, pillar of fire, the burning bush.c. Christ actually indwelt the sacred building in Israel.

  8. 2. The Church Age believers would live in the operational type GPS, and by so doing would be able to see Christ in the minds eye.

  9. 3. “I am in My Father”, declares Christ’s deity while in hypostatic union. The humanity of Christ was in union with the Father, a unique positional sanctification.

  10. This is the basis for our positional sanctification, since we are in union with Christ and must share everything He has.

  11. 4. “And you in Me,” Baptism of the Spirit, establishing us as the temple for the Shekinah Glory giving us equal privilege under predestination.

  12. 5. “And I in you,” the indwelling of Christ. This is true for every believer.

  13. 6. The people who heard this prophecy could see Christ's humanity, but they could not see His Deity.

  14. 7. The indwelling of Jesus Christ is unique to the Church Age and never occurred before in history.

  15. The verification of the indwelling of Christ in our Lord's prayer for the Church.John 17:22‑23, 26

  16. 1. This is a reference to the prototype GPS by which the humanity of Christ glorified God the Father.

  17. Now our Lord has given to us the operational GPS as the means of glorifying Him.

  18. 2. The glory is more than the GPS, but includes the indwelling of Jesus Christ.

  19. 3. Verse 23, God the Father indwelt the Son in His humanity in order that He might become mature. In the same way, Christ indwells us that we might become mature.

  20. 4. vs. 23a, there is one objective: to fulfill God's Plan and glorify God.

  21. 5. The Indwelling of Christ is a sign to you that God the Father loves you just as He loved Jesus Christ.

  22. 6. vs. 26, This love will never be in you until you reach Spiritual Self Esteem, and Personal Love for God and Impersonal Love for Mankind.

  23. 7. This does not become a reality to us until we have metabolized Bible doctrine about who and what God is.

  24. 8. Indwelling is our status quo since salvation, but Jesus Christ being glorified in our bodies is the ultimate experience of spiritual adulthood.
