Eglin Air Force Base Energy Management • Eglin utilized a Utility Energy Services Contract to implement the Energy • Management System project with Gulf Power (electrical utility provider) • Chevron Energy Solutions was chosen as the Energy Service Company to • implement the project. • Chevron developed the proposed upgrade to the existing Direct Digital • Controls (DDC) in conjunction with integrating smart metering with the • DDC onto a stand alone secure network for proactive management of • facility energy consumption – a robust Energy Management System. • This energy conservation measure has the potential • to reduce the Base’s energy use by approximately 99,000 MMBTU per year • to help achieve base energy efficiency goals
