Status and Next Steps • Current draft – draft-ietf-ancp-pon-00 • Targeting an updated draft incorporating contributions from Hongyu Li (Huawei) and Thomas Haag (DT) by May 6 2011 • Separate out ONU definition. In current draft, there is one definition termed ONT/ONU • Separate diagrams and supporting text for OMCI vs. ANCP between ONT and OLT. Current draft has a section on ANCP versus OMCI between the OLT and ONT. Thus, these will be merged. • ANCP/OMCI interworking could be the subject of another ID • Diagram for topology discovery – add to existing section • New section on access loop configuration • Hongyu Li and Thomas Haag will be added as co-authors on the draft • Expect to go for Working Group last call after IETF 81 (Quebec)? IETF80 ANCP WG
