I understand that at least 20 - 25 lakhs is required to do MS in USA. I think I can manage by pooling together my savings, some soft loans from family members and take out a token education loan [ just to make sure the visa officer is happy I won't be broke in USA ] • How much money should one have ready for the entire duration of 24 months ( assuming no tuition waivers, no campus jobs or RA, TA & I'm only applying to universities with fees in the range of 7000 - 8000 $ for 9 credit hours / semester ) ? www.HappySchoolsBlog.com
