  5. What is organizational Behavior? (OB) • Interdisciplinary field dedicated to better understanding and managing people at work. (Kinicki & Kreitner, 2003, p. 9)

  6. Building Blocks of OB • Draws from many fields • Focuses on application and relevance • Develops and tests theories and concepts • Uses contingency thinking • Views organizations as open systems
