Aim Of Test • To start gathering data for definition of targets in order to produce an EOL ESP for the HMC BSM. • 10off 2.0L & 9off 2.4L modules were used for this test. • Each module was run 3 times with different springs: • Low limit spring – “Blue” spring. • Nominal spring – “Green” spring. • High limit spring – “Red” spring. • 57 runs in total. • Oil temperature 27°C (Slide 14). • Since this test, flow units have been changed from gpm (US) to lpm. Units on plots show gpm (US).

2.0L results higher than 2.4L, due to modules being ”dry” – parts had stood for 6 weeks since build & assembly oil had drained out.
