  2. Introduction • CAD has gotten trend in the textile industries as time intensive and complicated process of textile developing has been facilitated by CAD. • Due to CAD, impressive styles are available to the developers and producers of textile at the simple click of a computer mouse.

What is CAD ? • CAD uses computer-based resources for developing the products in pre-manufacturing level. • Other notations used for CAD are CADD or CAID which means “Computer-aided design and drafting” and “Computer-aided Commercial Design” respectively. • These terms are related to areas relevant to the production of technological innovation products. • In textile companies CAD is used for decoding automated developing that contains both program and sometimes special-purpose components.
