  9. College CommunityAwareness Days 2006/2007 • 2006/07 Students’ Union Issues: • Community Day • Pink day • Blue Day • Red Nose Day • Driving Awareness Day Breast and Testicular Cancer, Amnesty International, the abolition of landmines, charities, and Safe Driving skills

Community Day 2006 Lots of fun activities organised by the SU, including bouncy castle and 5-a-side football – money raised went to charity Talks from Mark Thomas, the presenter of Channel 4's Dispatches and Comedy Product and the author/presenter of the After School Arms Club bought the issue of Arms Control to the student body

  11. Christmas Charity Day 2006 On the last Thursday of the Christmas term we ran a charity day in which we had: • Bands • Cakes • Raffle • Auction • Santa’s Ghetto • Mince Pie eating competition Crisis £250 Rakitovo £450 Crisis for Christmas £250
