What is Body Language? • The Primitive Language of communication even before the language evolved. • For example the complicated task of assembling different parts of a watch. • This language comes inheritant as the horses need not be taught how to walk.
How this book can helped us? • Interviews of Wipro and that for entering this institute. • Analyzing Audience • Highly congenial signs 1. Yawns 2. Laughter 3. Crossed arms, • Negotiations of buyer and seller relationship • Controlling body language helps get more concentration. • Helps communicate better and even lie convincingly e.g. politicians.
Problems In Understanding Body Language • The scanning is usually on-off and hard to concentrate continuously. • Single gesture interpretation ends in usually wrong conclusions.
Methods of Improving Gesture interpretation. • Let your sub-conscious work. • Practice seeing talk shows keeping the TV Mute and then switching on the volume to verify. • In class look at a distant group and draw conclusions and then go there to review your conclusions.
