  2. Taxias Son respuestas en que las células o partes de las células se mueven orientadas por un estímulo. Hay taxias positivas si se acercan a éste, y negativas si se alejan. FOTOTAXIA Respuesta determinada por la luz. P. ej., en algas unicelulares, desplazamiento hacia la luz o alejamiento de ella si es muy intensa Cloroplastos: movimientos inducidos por la luz QUIMIOTAXIA Respuesta de movimiento a un gradiente químico.

  3. Tropismos La respuesta de la planta sigue la dirección del estimulo (p. ej., fototropismo positivo en coleoptiles), o es opuesta a ella (p. ej., gravitropismo negativo en tallos) o forma un cierto ángulo respecto de la dirección del estimulo (p. ej., diageotropismo en raíces secundarias).
