  3. Tungsten Irises Both tungsten irises assembled and tested. Brass ‘backing’ works well. All irises now assembled inside drum. Remaining: Mount optical sensors. Mount additional actuators. Test full system.

  4. Final Assembly Air crate wiring New front panels (air & electronics crates) Final tests in Oxford Ready late July Installation plan exists Delivered with “push-button” control + Labview. EPICS controls developed after installation. Tests: Ramp magnet in stages, testing at each step Quench test: costs LHe!
