Without this worldwide coordination, samples are not available in time to meet press deadlines for coverage a time of launch. Coverage = Calls to queue • Primary responsibility is coordination of product reviews logistics • Attends all Core Team Meetings with Product Marketing Managers • Ensures proto samples are suitable for press by working with the following groups: • Planners, Procurement, Suppliers, and NPO/NPI, RAP Labs, Engineering • Manages global procurement and allocation of early samples • Includes peripherals, parts, and processor samples not available through the factory for proto & qual builds • Coordinates proto unit performance feedback from RAP Labs to Core Teams • Manages Global RAP Team Weekly Meeting • Provides launch/sustaining product updates to BU PR/Marketing & EMF RAP • Coordination of sample allocation logistics between regions • Advise PR on best configurations for pub submission (to win) • Determine Press Tour Timing and deliverables • Miscellaneous • Manages Administers two databases for tracking and reporting Product Reviews • PART – Product Awards Reporting Tool (review outcomes) • Opps Database – Details on product review submissions (configs, problems, deadlines) • Trade Show and Product Placement Management • Prepare all WW reviews slides for Opps Reviews, OOC presentations, Analyst Meeting
