2. About the book Evie is an ordinary girl who lives in Michigan with her mom and dad. Her mom tells her many fantasy stories. Everything changes when Evie’s mom dies of cancer. Evie promised herself that she would only go in her mom’s cemetery. So when Evie’s dad buys a house in New York, Evie hates that they are moving away from her mom’s grave. When they get to New York, Evie hates this place so much because there is a cemetery right next to it. She meets a boy who ‘claims’ he died from cancer a week ago.
