  4. CURRENT SITUATION TYPES OF SOCIAL ECONOMY ENTERPRISES • Non-profit organisations in the field of employment, environmental protection, consumer protection, social services etc., civic societies, credit and trade unions.

  5. Associations that undertake economic activities aiming at social and labour integration of disadvantage and vulnerable groups such as craft enterprises run by women mainly in the agricultural sector and rehabilitation workshops operating within psychiatric hospitals.

  6. Social enterprises run by people with mental disorders under the legal status of “Social co-operatives with limited liability” (KISPE) which was established in 1999 by the Greek government as part of the mental health reform program.

  7. LEGAL FRAMEWORK • THE LEGAL FRAMEWORK IS ON INITIAL STAGE AND INADEQUATE TO ADDRESS THE ACTIVITIES OF SOCIAL ECONOMY • THERE IS NO CLEAR PUBLIC POLICY TOWARDS SOCIAL ECONOMY ENTERPRISES
