Osaka IPv6 Summit Notice: Address Unit Availability & Event Guidelines

Welcome to Osaka! Join the Global IPv6 Summit in Japan organized by the Steering Committee. Approximately 70 units of IPv4 address space are available. Each unit represents 1/256 of the total size of IPv4 address space (/8 size equivalent to Class A). The Address Usage Rate (units per year) will be notified by the committee. AC power supply is available in the main hall. Kindly return translation receivers to your seats after sessions. Coffee service on the 6th and 7th floors will be provided during breaks. Please refrain from eating or drinking in the main hall. Remember to complete and submit your questionnaire before leaving. Consult the leaflet in your conference bag for network configuration details in the main hall.

  2. Approximately 70 units are left. • Here one unit means 1/256 of the total IPv4 address space size, i.e. /8 (=equivalent size of Class A) • Address Usage Rate (units per a year)

  4. Notification from the steering committee • You can use AC power supply in the front part of the main hall. • After the sessions, please leave translation receiver on your seats.
