  3. Geography To the south of Tarbes is the pilgrimage town of Lourdes and the border with Spain. The Pyrenees mountains, lying along the border between France and Spain, they can be seen from the town.
  4. Sports Tarbes was one of the stages in the 2006 Tour de France Tarbes was a route in the 2001 and 2009 Tour de France
