Benefits of SENDirect • Provides parents with a means to self-direct support • Provides an infrastructure to administer personal budgets • Compliments and extends the local offer • Allows staff to work more efficiently • Intelligence to shape services and develop the market – build user-focused and responsive services • Platform for service providers to reach a wider audience • Basis for co-production and collaborative working between commissioners, providers and families who use services.
