What is Next Step? Next Step is £27,000 creative activity programme aimed at young people at risk of violent offending or serious anti- social behaviour.

Run by the Arts Development Team • Programme runs from 2011 to April 2012 • Funded by Cashback for Communities ‘Anti-Violence’ Fund
What Activities? Arts Workshops including : Graffiti art, 3d construction, mural art, filmmaking, animation, craft, jewellery making, fashion, web/ new media, digital photography, public art, recycle art, ceramics, sculpture, drawing and painting, wood carving, screen printing……….
What Activities? Music – Singing, DJing, rap, dance, guitar/ drum workshops, movement, electronic and experimental music…..
What Activities? Adventure Aberdeen – Coast-steering, surfing, gorge walking, hill walking, wall climbing, canoeing, white water rafting…. Limited Places!
Who is it open to? • Young people at risk of violent offending or serious anti social behaviour. • Young people within the Youth Justice Programme and partner organisations. • Must be between 10 – 19 age group
How to access the programme • All workshops are tailored to the needs and benefits of the young people. • Should work in tandem with ongoing YJS work. • Identify groups and individuals who will benefit.
