A NEW PROCESS IS REQUIRED TO MAKING THIS HAPPEN • From • No clear strategy and priority setting for the industry • Many different influencing bodies ( EU and country levels with different bodies, organisations and gremium • Industry and Development aims not (yet) aligned ( at least n different Roadmaps ! ) • Dissemination poor and slow • Insufficient funding, set to probably the wrong priorities • EU wide approach chaotic, intransparent and complex • Mechanisms and bureacracy too unwieldly and difficult • ......and the list continues To • Clear unified strategy, focus and priorities for Industry and Research community • Clear, straightforward network and body(s) to formulate and drive the program • Clear application and quick priority driven decision making process • Clear and accessible dissemination to industry • Substantially increased funding to give a „turbo effect“ to RTD and D effort Source : EPIA/EUREC
