  1. SMART Goals • Specific- • What do you want to achieve? I want to do 45 curl ups on the post test Fitnessgram.

  2. SMART Goals • Measureable- • Establish how to measure your success: target dates or specific events I want to lose 8 lbs. by the end of MP III.

  3. SMART Goals • Achievable- • Your goals should push you past your comfort point but should still be doable. I would like to increase my sit-n-reach by 1 inch on each leg on the post-test.

  4. Write a good goal… • “I want to get stronger” –Poor goal • “I want to be able to bench press 135lbs. 5x.” • “I want to lose weight” -- Poor goal • “I want to lose 8-10lbs.”
