Established in 1983, Brabant Development Agency (BOM) is a government-owned organization that aims to strengthen the economic structure in Brabant. With a large investment fund, BOM offers assistance and guidance to foreign companies, and operates through four core departments: BOM Venture Capital, BOM New Business Development, BOM Business Parks, and BOM Foreign Investments.

Solliance • Solliance is a partnership of R&D organisations working in photovoltaic energy (PV) in the ELAT region (Eindhoven-Leuven-Aachen); • Solliance has been initiated by ECN, TU/e, TNO and Holst Centre, but will expand later with other organisations; • Solliance will create synergy by coordinating the activities of industry, research institutes and universities; • Solliance will further strengthen the region’s position as a world player in PV. • The first five cases • Thin Film Technologies for PV (incl.
