MUNICIPALITY OF PRESEVO A place of fast prosperity • Total area of 264 km2 (Agricultural area 160 km2, cultivated area 88 km2, forest area 97 km2) • Population 34.904 + 13.000 people temporarily working abroad (according to the register in 2002.) • The municipality with the youngest population in Serbia(average age 29years) • 10 elementary schools (over 5.300 students) • Two secondary schools (2282 students), high school, technical school (departments: engineering, wood processing, electronics, transportation, medicine, etc.) • Two high education institutions (economy and law departments) General information about the municipality INDUSTRIAL ZONE

MUNICIPALITY OF PRESEVO A place of fast prosperity The Mission of the Presevo municipality is to be a real representative of the political will of its citizens on the level of the local self-government, and by respecting the principle of good management, to work on improving its service and quality through: • Infrastructure building • Protecting the enviroment • Providing the necessary conditions for touristic development and transport connections Special goals: • Providing the neccessary conditions for investments and giving support to private sector • Providing the neccessary conditions to become economically sustainable municipality Mission of the Municipality INDUSTRIAL ZONE
