More than 40 years Youth Clubs ’60 - ’usefull’ spending of leisure time ’70 - what’s our identity? + education ’80 - survival in economic recess ’90 - revival (decree) 21st C. - better support to YC

ViSIon & ChaLLenGEs • our VISION on • Society & future developments + place of YCs • Youth  capacities, identity, selfesteem • Youth Clubs  what can be their significance? • We see 4 CHALLENGES • Provide space for experiment & confidence • Help building networks & supporting Y culture • Giving Y chances, believing in Y’s competences • Creating open, solidair, warm society

  9. iT’s noT fiNisheD yET! First step – to write a brochure Plan to distribute it to all YC-members Still a lot of unanswered questions: • Negotiating culture: not for everyone • Openness: bring in one group = bye bye the other one • On purpose unpredictable: start of genius
