This is what you will need:12 Pre-baked cupcakes2 medium mixing bowls1 spatula12 cupcake liners1 cupcake tin for 12 cupcakes4 containers of store bought icing-white12 Oreo cookies or if you have regular sized cookies
I will explain how you will use the following items: • You will need some white icing for part of the monster eyes. • 24 chocolate chips • Decorator tip will be the large star tip (you can buy these tips at a candy and cake supply store) • Blue food coloring will be used in some of the white icing for the monster’s face. • If you do not have Oreo cookies you may substitute another type of cookie.
To frost the cupcakes, >first divide the frosting equally into 4 bowls.>Next, add blue food coloring to one bowl; mix well. Step 1
Step 2> Now take the 2nd pastry bag and insert a new tip. >Fill the bag with white icing for the eyes.
Step 3>Take 2 chocolate chips>Place them inside the whites of the eyes with the pointed ends of each chip facing the center
Step 4:>Take the small chocolate chip cookies or a broken piece of a big cookie of any kind >Place it on the bottom of icing to make it look like the monster is biting the cookie
Boom! There you have your monster cupcakes! These cupcakes are perfect for any party.
If you would like to change it a little, you can make different colored icing such as purple or green. This way you can create a few different monster cupcakes.
Just watch that your monster cupcakes don’t run into any tunnels. They might disappear into a great party wonderland before the children get to enjoy them.
