HOROZ LOJİSTİK 2005 Chronological Facts • 1942 founded in Gaziantep by Mehmet Emin Horoz, as a domestic rail and road forwarding company. • 1974 invested on a road fleet and commenced international road transportation/ forwarding. • 1980 moved the headquarters to Istanbul. • 1992 decision taken to evolve the company as an ‘Integrated 3 rd Party Logistics Services Provider’. • 1995 – 1998 commenced activities in air, ocean, rail forwarding, customs brokerage, warehousing and inventory management along with domestic ‘ micro-distribution ’

HOROZ LOJİSTİK 2005 Chronological Facts • 1999 ‘ Honest ’ in-house developed micro-distribution tracing programme implemented allhub-stations and warehouses in Turkey. • 2000 to increase effectiveness and to gain access to worldwide network, a joint venture was formed with a French Company ‘ SDV ’ in 2000. SDVHOROZ commenced as ajoint venture in ocean and air freight forwarding. • 2004 Horoz Logistics C.I.S and Horoz Poland offices are established in Russia and Warsaw. Ownership Horoz Lojistik is fully owned by Mr.M.Nurettin Horoz and his wife and son Mr.Taner Horoz. Governance The company’s operations are planned and run by an executive commity led by Mr.Taner Horoz and 6 senior members who have long time served to the company.
