  2. SAT LITE Satellite Meter About the SAT LITE Satellite Meter: • The SAT LITE simplifies satellite dish installation and allows precise alignment of the dish. • The meter measures digital satellite signal level, bit error rate, and carrier-to-noise ratio to confirm a quality signal.

SAT LITE Satellite Meter About the SAT LITE Satellite Meter: • The positive lock signal feature prevents the meter from displaying a signal quality level unless the correct satellite has been targeted. • The SAT LITE does not require a connection to a receiver or television to align the satellite dish.

  4. SAT LITE Satellite Meter About the SAT LITE Satellite Meter: • The SAT LITE is preconfigured with a list of commonly available satellites in North America. • Up to 60 satellite configurations can be stored in the SAT LITE’s memory.

SAT LITE Satellite Meter The Following Functions can be Performed with the SAT LITE: • The SAT LITE checks the signal level from the selected satellite. • The features in the SAT LITE allow for dithering (fine-tuning) of the dish. • The SAT LITE measures the bit error rate of the satellite signal. • The carrier-to-noise ratio of the signal is measured.

  6. SAT LITE Satellite Meter Measuring the Signal Level: • Adjust the dish to the specified azimuth and elevation values. • Connect the SAT LITE to an LNB output. • Use the UP/DOWN keys to select the target satellite from the list.

SAT LITE Satellite Meter Measuring the Signal Level: • Press the ENTER key to load the satellite configuration and display the “Level” screen. • Press the ENTER key to display the satellite’s name and signal level. • Adjust the dish so the displayed signal (S) and quality (Q) levels are at their maximum.

SAT LITE Satellite Meter Dithering the Satellite Dish: • Using the fine-tuning bolts on the dish assembly, adjust the dish in the vertical plane to achieve the best possible signal level (S). • Using the fine-tuning bolts on the dish assembly, adjust the dish in the horizontal plane to achieve the best possible signal level (S).

  9. SAT LITE Satellite Meter Measuring the Bit Error Rate and Carrier-to-Noise ratio: • While in the “Signal” screen, press the DOWN key to display the bit error rate and carrier-to-noise ratio.
