AP Reminders • The State of two types of AP test fee subsidies: • Standard Fee per test: $82 • For students with financial need • $13 or $5 with district’s waiver • For any other public school student taking a test • $52 or $44 with district’s waiver • See ESC-20 website (What’s New) for information

AssessmentMarch 25, 2005 TAA letter • Coding Parent Denials on Answer Documents (AYP issue) • Coded M1 or M2 as appropriate • Pre-codes would not consider this • Can be over gridded to correct assessment data but does NOT correct PEIMS and Student data systems • April document will update the February data • AYP appeals will address discrepant codes

AssessmentMarch 24, 2005 TAA letter • Monitoring responsibilities for LEP with Parent denial • Not currently addressed in Chap 89 • Best practice is to monitor LEP student whether denials or not • Purpose is to make recommendation regarding additional assistance for students struggling academically.
