Who are our students? Public 65% Homeschooled 23% VLACS FT 5% Private 3% Drop-out 3% Charter 1%
How does it work? • Open enrollment - Student may enroll on any day of the year and begin coursework in 10 days, or less • Students work at a pace that meets their academic and personal needs • Instructors work with each student on an individual basis with mastering competencies. Most courses also include collaborative assignments. • Students must pass all competency assessments (85%) in addition to having a passing grade in order to be awarded credit. • Academic and technical helpdesks available to provide support when an instructor is not available.
