Irek Zaripov Ayratovich (bashk. Irek Zaripov Airat uly) (born March 27, 1983, Sterlitamak, Bashkiria, USSR) - Russian athlete, Honored Master of Sports, four-times champion of the Paralympic Winter Games in Vancouver in 2010. • BiographyA pupil of SK "Idel" (the first coach - Mr Gabdullin).He graduated from a high school and a professional of the Bashkir Economics College of Law.In 2000, after a car accident he was amputated both legs.Since 2005, has been standing for high sports school of the Republic of Bashkortostan (coach – Mr Gumerov).Since 2005 - member team of the Paralympic team in Russia.A student of the Ural Academy of Physical Culture.He is married.
