Want to know about the benefits offered under the Junior Research Fellowship? Here in this presentation I’ve shared the top benefits that an aspirant can avail after qualifying for the JRF.
Fellowship Those aspirants who clear the CSIR NET Exam will be entitled to get monthly fellowship of INR 31000. This fellowship will be provided by the commission till the tenure of two years. If the candidate becomes eligible for SRF after completing two years, then he/she will be eligible to get INR 35000.
House Rent Allowance (HRA) Those who are eligible for JRF after clearing the UGC NET, are benefited with the House Rent Allowance. Those who stay outside the hostel accommodation will get the fees excluding the mess, electricity and water charges.
Medical Allowance The Fellow can get the medical facilities available in the educational institution. However, as per the guidelines, the candidates will not get any separate/fixed medical assistance.
Leave The Junior Research Fellowship holders will get 30 days leaves in a year, in addition, the fellows will also get public holidays.
Escort or Reader Facility for PWD Candidates The Physically Handicapped and blind candidates will get decent among in JRF scheme for Escort or reader facility.
