  3. What is a Withdrawal • Action that occurs when a course is removed from a student’s schedule • A withdrawal is recorded on your TC transcript and will be listed as a “W”

  4. How to Withdraw • Speak with your instructor • See an advisor before withdrawing from your classes • An advisor can assist you or you can withdraw online using TConnect

  5. How to Withdraw • If you want to withdraw from ANY developmental class, see your advisor • If you withdraw from your only developmental class, you will be dropped from all other classes

  6. Drop Rule • No more than 6 drops allowed throughout entire undergraduate college career in Texas • Drops transfer from institution to institution

  7. If you are using any federal funds, see Financial Aid or your advisor BEFORE • withdrawing • You may owe a portion of tuition & fees • This could impact future Financial Aid disbursements
