The sea – rolls on the beach If the sea is a “hungry dog” in lines 1-14, what kind of dog is it in lines 15-20? The sea is a contented dog. “He” rests quietly. What are some descriptive language (good use of adjectives)? Clashing teeth, shaggy jaws, stormy clouds What figures of speech do you see? Alliteration (sandy shores), onomatopoeia (moans), metaphor (the sea is an angry dog).
