The yields of the past manual elections show us that the “Filipino Vote” has been degraded to a mere tool for: RATIONALE • commercialism • patronage politicking • perpetuation in power • circumvention of the law to escape prosecution – to mention only a few among the many others.

  36. AUTOMATED AES USING THE PICOS MACHINE • CANDIDATE NAMES ARE PRE-FILLED: Instead of writing the name of the candidate, the oval beside the name is shaded. • Invalid ballots will be rejected outright and discharged back out through the feeder.

  43. Automated Elections System PROCEDURES IN VOTING HOW DO I VOTE?

BASICS • On May 10, 2010 voting hours is from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. • Maximum of 1,000 voters per clustered precinct (up to 7 precincts). • One PCOS machine per clustered precinct. • Names of candidates are pre-printed in the ballot. • Voters will shade ovals opposite names of chosen candidates. • Voters will personally insert/feed the ballots in the PCOS machine. PROCEDURES IN VOTING

PROCEDURES IN VOTING Go early to your ‘Polling Center’ (school, gymnasium, basketball court, and the like, where voting is taking place) and look for your Polling Place (Precinct).

  46. 2 PROCEDURES IN VOTING Hanapinanginyongpangalansa “Posted Computerized Voters’ List” (PCVL) salabasng ‘Polling Place’ (Precinct) malapitsapintuannito. Tandaananginyong precinct number at sequence number. Look for your name in the “Posted Computerized Voters’ List (PCVL) at the entrance of the Polling Place (Precinct). Note your control or sequence number.

PROCEDURES IN VOTING Fall in line and wait for your turn to be allowed by the Board of Election Inspectors (BEI) to enter the polling place. Only a maximum of ten (10) voters at a time will be allowed inside the voting area.
