  2. Where Is Camp Barton You Ask? Camp Barton is located on 300 acres on Frontenac Point on the west shore of Cayuga Lake in New York State's Finger Lakes. It is approximately nine miles north of Ithaca, New York, or in English terms upstate New York. ;)

  3. Da WaterFront The Camp Barton Waterfront is on Cayuga Lake. Barton’s waterfront facilities take up a quarter mile of shoreline. Barton has a very nice waterfront and a variety of merit badges are offered here like swimming, small boat sailing, canoeing, rowing and a lot of other ones too. Also for the older boys entertainment they also offer jet skis to be used.

  4. grgregroegttreg Or also known as Scoutcraft • The Scout craft area of Barton offers badges like pioneering, camping, cooking, fishing, and other badges.

Shooting Sports and Climbing • Scout: Hey mom what badges are offered in Shooting Sports and Climbing • Mom: Take a guess son • Scout: Citizenship in the world • Mom: Not even close • Scout: What are they then • Mom: Climbing at the climbing range, Rifle Shooting, Shotgun Shooting and Archery. And there is a new Indoor Climbing Wall • Scout: Oh so where outside is it • Mom: INDOOR CLIMBING WALL • Scout: Oh I get it, thanks mom you’re the best • Mom: Anytime Son

  6. Nature (Sounds Fun) • The Nature Lodge at Camp Barton offers the typical nature merit badges like geography, oceanography, mammal study, environmental science, but that is not all so stay tooned in to find out more.

  7. OLDER BOY PROGRAM (Basically Only includes Matt Cassano and Charlie) • Heisman: This is a week long advanced sailing and waterfront based program for older boys. This includes racing, navigation and boat maintenance and is a week long competition. • Woodsman Awards Program: A program based outdoors for scouts 14 and older which is a high adventure program that includes lumberjack competitions and challenging hikes • SCUBA: You go Scuba Diving. Must be 14 or older and equipment is provided. 9am to 10am is only timeslot.
