Typical day • 8.00 – 8.30 Breakfast • 10am – 1pm Activities (Group leaders) • 1pm – 2pm Lunch (Group leaders) • 2pm – 5pm Activities (Group leaders) • 5pm – 6pm Evening meal (Course managers) • 7pm – 9pm Activities (Group leaders) • 9.00 – 9.30 Hot chocolate (Course managers) • 9.30 – 10.30 Bedtime (Night staff)

  24. Qualifications • British Canoe Union • Mountain Leadership Training Board • Grand National Archery Society • British Orienteering Society • Mountain and outdoor first aid • First aid at work • Licensed with Adventure Activities Licensing Authority

  25. Staffing • Three members of staff from Cawood • Marrick Priory ratios vary per activity • 1 to 1 for climbing and abseiling • 2 to 12 for sheltered canoeing • 1 to 12 for nightline • 1 to 18 for night time • All ratios meet or exceed ratios laid down by national governing bodies

  26. Food! • Glorious food….. plenty of it • Toast and cereals plus cooked breakfast • Packed lunch on the first day! • Cooked evening meal and tasty pudding • Choice available and vegetarian option

  27. Accommodation • Sleep in dormitories with all bedding provided • Toilet and shower facilities close by • Group leaders ensure one shower per day! • Any wet clothes dried overnight and ready for the next day

  28. Cost - 2017 • The cost last year was £127.75 • Accomodation • Food • Activities • Insurance • Coach travel

  29. Cost - 2017 • Payment on parent pay. • £60 non-returnable deposit • Payment can be made as and when it suits you. • All payments made by 30th November.
