SIMILARITIES • Ancient houses were built from wood and mostly with straw roof. The ancient farmstead was very similar in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. • Bathhouse had the special role in all project countries. • The viewing, pottering and smithery were recognized handicrafts in all project countries.
DIFFERENCES • Bobbin lace was traditional craft in Sweden and Finland. • In Lithuania there are a lot of wooden memorials: crosses, chapels and shrines. • In Sweden there werepopular hand painted wallpaper, painted walls and ceiling.
