  8. LORCA:MUERTE DE UN POETA DE JUAN ANTONIO BARDEM (1984) Drama/Biopic Casting: Nickolas Grace, Jesús Alcaide, Alexander Allerson, Amparo Baró, Pilar Bardem… TV series of six episodes. Federico García Lorca was 38 years old when it was murdered on August 19, 1936, one month after the Civil war exploded. The series tries to recreate accurately the wonderful and terrible gait of the poet. TVE chose the British actor Nickolas Grace for the leading role because he was well known for his interpretation in the British miniseries “Return to Brideshead”. Grace's choice for the paper guaranteed the sale of the series in the British and American television Winner of the TP of Gold to the Best national series (1988)
